Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1-2 days after payment is confirmed.

Orders requiring insurance verification or prescription validation may experience additional processing time. We will notify you if there are any delays.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.

Shipping Options & Rates

We offer the following shipping methods:

Standard Shipping: Estimated delivery in 4-5 days

Expedited Shipping: Estimated delivery in 2-3 days

Free Shipping: Available for orders over $99 or for specific products (e.g., wheelchairs, hospital beds).

Shipping rates vary based on the size, weight, and destination of the order. These will be calculated at checkout.


Note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to external factors such as carrier delays or extreme weather.

Special Delivery for Oversized Items

For large or heavy items (e.g., hospital beds, lift chairs, scooters):

Additional handling fees may apply.

Delivery may include inside delivery and setup (white glove service) for an extra fee. Contact us to confirm availability in your area.

Please ensure someone is present to receive and sign for the delivery.

 

Local Delivery & Pickup

Local delivery is available for customers within hampton roads area (Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Hampton) for additional information on delivery fees please refer to Delivery Charges Section in the Footer 

In-Store pick up is available in Both Chesapeake, and Virginia Beach Location, please call in advance to ascertain that your choice of color, size or style in available in either of these locations.

Shipping Restrictions

We do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally at this time.

Certain products, such as oxygen tanks or hazardous materials, are restricted from shipment due to safety regulations.

Insurance Claims & Prescription Products

If your order is being submitted through insurance, processing times may vary depending on the approval process. Please contact our stores in Virgina Beach, and Chesapeake, to know about the process, approval times and other claims related information 

For prescription items, a valid prescription must be received and verified before shipping.

Lost or Damaged Packages

Medemporium is not responsible for packages lost or damaged during transit.

If your package arrives damaged, please notify us within 2 days at contact@medemp.com with photos of the damage and your order details. We will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier or provide a replacement if eligible.
